Ready to see what you can create? Register today!

What happens when children have the opportunity to turn their curiosity into creation? They experiment, solve problems, think creatively, and discover just how much they can do.

At Krieger Schechter Day School (KSDS), we believe that preparing children for the future means giving them opportunities to ask questions, explore new ideas, and learn by doing. Through hands-on experiences, students develop the creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills that will serve them well in the classroom and beyond.

On Tuesday, November 3, we invite fourth and fifth grade students to experience this kind of learning firsthand during a special makerspace event at KSDS. Students will explore our makerspace, work with Ozobot robots, meet other kids, and bring their ideas to life through experimentation, coding, and creative problem-solving.

If you dream it, you can create it!

Our makerspace is a place where imagination meets innovation. Students are encouraged to try new things, test their ideas, learn from mistakes, and discover new possibilities. Whether they’re programming a robot or figuring out how to make an idea work, they’re building confidence in their ability to tackle challenges and create something of their own.

And that spirit of exploration extends throughout the KSDS experience. We want students to become curious, independent thinkers who are excited to learn, comfortable taking on challenges, and prepared to navigate an ever-changing world.

Explore KSDS in Action

While students get hands-on with robots and explore the makerspace, parents will have an opportunity to meet our Head of School and Principal and learn more about what makes KSDS special. Discover how our school weaves Jewish values and concepts into learning and everyday school life, creating an environment where academic growth, creativity, and character development go hand in hand.

Whether your child loves to build, enjoys solving puzzles, or is simply curious about how things work, this is an opportunity to explore new interests, make connections, and experience the possibilities of learning at KSDS.
